The Pelham A21 Walk for Freedom, hosted by Grace Ministries of Alabama, will be 9 am to noon at the Pelham Dog Park Pavilion at 31-33 Belle Vista Mobile Home Park Pelham, AL 35124. If you want an A21 walk T-shirt, you will need to purchase it at least two weeks before the walk at https://www.a21.org/shop-offer.php?intid=5431. Wear your A21 walk T-shirt or a black shirt and good walking shoes. Be prepared for any weather for a silent and slow walk of 1.5-2 miles on the shoulder of a busy roadway. Pelham Police Department will provide escorts but would use extreme caution if planning to bring small children. Waters and walk posters are provided but feel free to bring your own. Parking is free and immediately available at the pavilion. Bathrooms are available. Lunch is served for free at 11 am. There will be plenty of room to sit on the grass but you may want to bring a fold up chair for use during lunch. Note that we will have a raffle again this year with prizes valued up to $250.
