In 2020 I had a desire to take a long bicycle road trip and began planning. Ronda and I have taken bicycle road trips before but never the extent of what we will undertake riding the East Coast of the USA.Retirement in 2024 has now afforded us time for the trip which begins in April 2025.

In 2018 I saw Christine Caine, one of the founders of A21, speak and was impressed with her passion for the vulnerable in our society. Through this encounter I began to support A21. Ronda and I want to give our bicycle road trip more purpose so we have chosen to support A21 with every turn of the peddle.

A21 is a global nonprofit organization determined to eradicate human trafficking through Awareness, Intervention and Aftercare. Currently operating in 18 locations, 13 countries, A21 aims to combat modern-day slavery through a multi-dimensional operational strategy: REACH, RECOVER and RESTORE. Through partnerships and the efforts of supporters all over the globe, A21 truly believes that a multitude of victims can be identified and assisted, and perpetrators can be brought to justice.

Springfield Missouri is not exempt from human trafficking. Located along I-44 vulnerable people are easily transported from state to state. Please join us in support of our journey for A21.
