K-12 Human Trafficking Education Curriculum Training

.

Educators and school personnel have regular interaction with students, making them front-line professionals in the fight against human trafficking and online exploitation, two crimes that pose a real risk to our children and teenagers

.

1 of 4 victims are mintors

In the United States,
the National Human Trafficking Hotline
estimates that over 16,000 people are trafficked
each year, and 1 of 4 are minors.1

post COVID

With the rise in social media and
gaming platforms, particularly post-COVID,
digital threats are also becoming more prevalent.

.

These statistics may be overwhelming, but the reality is that with adequate education and early intervention, prevention of these crimes against our children is possible. You and your team are uniquely positioned to make a real difference as educators and school personnel. A21’s self-paced training courses will equip you with the knowledge and tools to understand, recognize, and respond to threats of human trafficking so that you can help safeguard K-12 students..

Continued education credits (hours) are also available upon the completion of training and implementation.

.

Human Trafficking 101 Course

A21 also offers a standalone Human Trafficking 101 self-paced training course here. This is a great option for schools to utilize with school personnel who will not be teaching the curriculum but still need to know about human trafficking to identify and report dangerous situations and potential victims.
