We are excited to have Walk For Freedom in Washington, D.C. in 2024! Join us on October 19th and follow along our Instagram and Facebook for more details. We ask that all participants wear black or dark colors in solidarity.
We are thrilled to be meeting at the Sylvan Theater and walking around the Washington Monument on the National Mall! It is located within the northwest corner of the 15th Street and Independence Avenue intersection, about 450 feet southeast of the Washington Monument. General parking is available at the Paddle Boat Parking Lot along Maine Ave. SW, and along Ohio Drive, SW between the Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson Memorials. There are also multiple public parking lots available nearby!
There will be public restrooms directly near the stage and water and light snacks provided to walkers.
