Human Trafficking is the abuse of children, women and men for their bodies and labour. It is modern-slavery and is a $236 billion USD industry, with an estimated 49 million people enslaved globally right now. An estimated 41,000 of those are enslaved in Australia with multiple human traffickers in EVERY state and territory in Australia. However there IS hope. A21’s mission is to END slavery in our lifetime, by rescuing victims, providing exceptional after care programs and education that equips people to understand, identify and reduce the risks of human trafficking. This is how we end slavery. So please join our Walk For Freedom on 19 October, 2024. We will be walking from Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor on a 3km walk around Victor Harbor and along the Esplanade foreshore.
