Join Us for the Walk Against Human Trafficking! When: Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Sign in 9:30-9:55 Where: Departing from Azalea Park (105 W Fifth South St, Summerville, SC 29483), walking through Hutchinson Square and down Central Avenue to the Farmer's Market and back. Parking: Small parking lot and along W. 5th South Street. Overflow parking: Bethany United Methodist church. 118 W. Third South Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Look for volunteer at entrance with sign stating WALK OVERFLOW PARKING. Let's stand together against the devastating crime of human trafficking. Join us for a community walk to raise awareness, show support for victims, and advocate for change. Both the Summerville Chief of Police, Douglas Wright and Kathryn Ramey, from the Tri-County Human Trafficking Task Force will be sharing important statistics and information about human trafficking in our area. If you would like to volunteer or donate towards materials (signs, fact sheets, permits, etc…) please email us. Let's make a difference together!
